Using Crosstab function to transform multiple rows into 1 row

Meteoroid

Hi All,

I've browsed similar solutions to my problem and I have had no luck with my specific problem!

My data set looks like this:

Device NumberAccount Number
30023D987
30023D719
30023D842
8330D299
8330D354

And I need to get it to look like this:

Device NumberAccount Number 1 Account Number 2 Account Number 3
30023D987D719D842
8330D299D354Null

Please help!

If at first you crosstab and use the concatenation function you can follow up with a text to columns tool to finish the job.

Chaos reigns within. Repent, reflect and reboot. Order shall return.

I would do the following:

Use a MultiRow formula to create a Column id (e.g. 1, 2, ...) grouped by Device ID

Then Cross Tab

Finally use a dynamic rename to sort out the name
