Two Tables - No Common Fields - Need All Combinations

Hello all,

I'm new to Alteryx and an experienced Access user.  In Access if I create a query using two tables with no fields in common (for example: One with 50 states and the other with 100 products), if I don't join the two tables and run the query, the results will show every combination of State & Product, i.e. 5,000 records.  I tried using the Alteryx "Append Fields" function, but received an error message ("Error: Append Fields (4): There were more than 16 records in the source") and the results were only partial.

How would I do this in Alteryx?  Many thanks in advance.

Hi @pliskers_dup_528

Are you just asking how to overcome the append error?

If you are... There is an option at the bottom of the append tool config to "allow all appends"

This will stop the error
