Quick question - I currently use alteryx on a windows VDI as my primary was a macbook.
I have switched to a PC and would like to have alteryx on my new laptop to design workflows. Ideally, these workflows will still be scheduled on the VDI (to allow for jobs to run when my laptop is off/no internet/etc...).
Is that possible using a designer license and a scheduler license or does this scenario require more?
The desktop automation license does not grant rights to deploy Alteryx Designer and Alteryx Desktop Automation within a Windows server operating system or a virtualized environment so in this scenario you can either use the scheduler on your Windows PC or get a license for Alteryx Server.
I'd recommend you speak to your Alteryx rep for more details.
