Transposing only column header

Meteoroid

Hi there,

What is the best way to transpose only the table columns? So I'd like to ignore all the records/rows in the table, and just transpose all the column header into rows (to make the output just 1 column).

E.g.

[col1] [col2] [col3] [col4]

1        5        2       4

5        2        9       6

...

Output:

[column]

col1

col2

col3

col4

Thanks,

I'd use the Transpose tool - https://help.alteryx.com/current/Transpose.htm

If you want to transpose all columns, then select all the fields in the Data Fields area.

Thanks for your response!

Is there a way to only transpose the header names and ignore all the records/rows under the column headers?

Suggest you use a FieldInfo tool
