Transpose Cells

Hello everyone,

Since I am a beginner, this is probably a simple question - but I didn´t find any useful results for me.

I need to transpose data in a scenario like this:

From:

A	SOMETHING 1
A	SOMETHING 2
A	SOMETHING 3
A	SOMETHING 4
A	SOMETHING 5
B	SOMETHING 1
B	SOMETHING 2
B	SOMETHING 4
C	SOMETHING 2
C	SOMETHING 5

To:

A	SOMETHING 1	SOMETHING 2	SOMETHING 3	SOMETHING 4	SOMETHING 5
B	SOMETHING 1	SOMETHING 2	SOMETHING 4
C	SOMETHING 2	SOMETHING 5

I have tried something with crosstab and transpose but I didn´t get it.

Please, any help would be great!

Use the Cross Tab tool.

OR try this crude approach...

Use a Summarize tool.  Group by Field 1 (A,B,C,D....) and set the other field to Concatenate (under Add -> String -> Concatenate).  Then use a Text to Column fields with the delimiter set to ",".  Finally, use a Select tool to clean things up.
