This Workflow References Macros....

Alteryx fans, good day to you!!!

I have a workflow that contains a macro.  When another user tries to use the workflow, a macro within it shows like this:

 Capture2.PNG

with an error like this:

Capture3.PNG

What am I doing wrong, and how can I ensure that the macro stays associated with the rest of the workflow?  Thank you!

Hi @robertfishel

Does the other user have access to where the macro is saved?

Hi @robertfishel

Are you packaging your workflow? Because that's what you gotta do on this case.

You can read how to do this in the link above.

You can save your workflow as a 'packaged workflow' Which includes associated assets by going to options then 'export workflow'.

You can also choose which assets are included in the package and which are not.

Then you send this packaged workflow to your other user, and when they double click on the file, Alteryx will unzip the package.

Yes.  The workflow is stored in a network folder that more than one person can get to.

I thought the answer might be to package the workflow, but I have not done this sort of thing.  i will read up on it.  Thank you!!!
