Sub-grouping solution needed

Does anyone know of a way to create an output that would have two levels of grouping? Group by Column 1 then by Column 2 with the data in Columns 3-6 displayed beside Column 2?

The data looks like this:

Column 1Column 2Column 3Column 4Column 5Column 6
Value 1Name 15980
Value 2Name 13932
Value 3Name 11213100
Value 4Name 118320
Value 1Name 25980
Value 2Name 23932
Value 3Name 21213100
Value 4Name 218320

But I would like the output to look like this:

Name 1Column 3Column 4Column 5Column 6
   Value 15980
   Value 23932
   Value 31213100
   Value 418320
Name 2
   Value 15980
   Value 23932
   Value 31213100
   Value 418320

Thanks!

I belive all you would need to do is use a summary tool but group by Name prior to grouping by value. See if the attached accomplishes what you're looking for.

I would do this as a double summarise with a union and a bit of sorting and selecting

My sample with have the totals for the Name rows but these can easily be null'd out by removing the sums from the grouping.

Hi jdunkerlay79,

I was unable to open your example because you are in a newer version of designer. Is there a way you can export it and I can open it?

This one should work in 10.1 - I hope!

That did it. Thanks!
