Stopping a Workflow for a Period of Time

Hi All --

Here is what I am looking to do and not sure there is a straight-forward way of doing it,

I want to run a workflow that will send an email to 10 people to please get out of an Excel workbook. Once the email goes out, I want there to be a 10-minute countdown before the rest of my workflow runs.

The point being is that I want to give the users time to close the workbook before the workflow continues since it will error out of a spreadsheet is open.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Seth

The CReW Macros have a really useful tool called "Wait A Second".

I'm assuming that the Excel Workbook is an input into your workflow after this point.

So what you could do is something along these lines:

Oh ok, that looks like what I want. Also, to answer your question, the input could happen after the timeout.

Thanks,

Seth
