Split output into multiple files...working, but need to eliminate the split-by field

I need to split my output into multiple files.

I'm using the method from this thread.

The issue, however, is that the Tile_SequenceNum gets written to the file, even though Keep Field In Output is unchecked.

Suggestions?

Hey @TeamTJ

Can you screenshot your output tool config please?

Ok, no problem....

Add a select tool just before your output tool and deselect Tile_SequenceNum

That worked perfectly...thank you.

Did I just misunderstand the purpose of the Keep Field In Output checkbox?  I presumed it would not include that field in the output...

Hey @TeamTJ

No you got it correct!

The Tile Tool creates 2 columns, Tile_Num & Tile_SequenceNum. You're using Tile_Num to split up your file but Tile_SequenceNum remains in the output.

Ok, I see that now...if I leave that checked using my original method there are 2 additional fields, Tile_Num & Tile_SequenceNum.

I appreciate your help and that you taught me something new!
