Snowflake SSO and Alteryx Designer

Hi all

Hoping for some help if possible.  Our organisation is moving towards SSO and away from users entering credentials.  I need to establish a connection to a Snowflake database but only seem to be able to do this via ODBC and a DSN.  Does anyone know if there is an SSO approach to Snowflake when using the Designer?

Thanks

Chris

Hi Chris,

No matter what you have to use ODBC. However, there are different authentication methods. Some with SSO and some without SSO.

For example - OAuth, Browser, Username/Password

You probably want to do the browser authentication because this allows you to use SSO with MFA. However, this obviously isnt possible with Alteryx Server if you have that.
