Hello Experts,

I have a workflow in which I want to send the output of Render tool or Layout tool  to Excel through output tool.

Thanks in advance

Ferha

Hi @ferha_jafri ,

I've built both output methods for you. You will need to change the output paths.

Hi @ferha_jafri ,

I'm not sure what you mean.

I've attached the workflow which changes how the straight Excel output is handled but the render output should be exactly the same.

I've attached the outputs I get. This is the the browse tool:

and this is the rendered output (Excel Output):

This is the straight Excel output (Excel Output 2(:

Not sure as I ran the workflow you attached and change the path. I am attaching the workflow and excel output as I am not getting the desired output. Please check.

Hi @ferha_jafri ,

I can't replicate the problem.

I've deleted the Excel output and I'm only using the render, which is the one you need.

I ran it again and I get the correct output:

Hi @ferha_jafri ,

You simply add the sheet name to be |||sheet 1 or whatever onto the filename.

Also, if you want to do that dynamically you simply create the filename in a formulae tool, for example "FileName"+".xlsx"+"|||"+datetimetoday()

This will create a file called FileName.xlsx with a sheet name of 2021-05-06.

You then configure the render to be as follows:

Got the error while adding a sheet PFA with the error.
