Send Workflow Error Event Email Without Using Events

Hi Team, 

Is it possible to send a Workflow Error Event email or even a Successful Run email without using the Events section of a Workflow? 

I'm trying to reduce the number of usernames and passwords that are hard-coded into the workflows on our scheduler and since there doesn't appear to be a way to use the Event Emails without hard-coding the UN/PW we are looking for an alternative solution.

Hi @Plunketj 

For the successful case, you can just add an Email tool with a summary of the results.  For the error case, it's tricky because email tools are disabled if an occurs in the workflow.  You can try using the CReW Runner macro.  This tool runs the workflow in a separate process and has 2 outputs, one each for success and failure.  If you connect an Email tool to each output you can get the results of either case.
