Select Records Tool- Parse Error

Hello! I was going through my dataset and was selecting individual records and ranges of records within the Select Records tool, and it kept popping up with this error message:  "Select Records (10) Tool #10: Parse Error at char(1208): An expression cannot end with an operator". I am not sure what's going on; all of my selections have followed the correct formats. I have attached an image of my configuration window for this tool and a picture of the error on the tool. Thank you so much in advance!

Hi @trvu8447,

I don't have a clue as well but maybe you can try removing some of the data to check in which area there is an error.

Or maybe create a new tool and paste everything there.

Apologies but it look correctly so I would limit the amount of the conditions to check in which part there is a mistake.

Good luck 🙂

Hi @trvu8447 ,

Agree with @Emil_Kos , I can't see anything wrong to the range you are displaying in your screenshot as well. But note that there is a scroll bar appearing on the right, which might mean that what's causing the error might (should) be further up or down

I cut down on the number of conditions, and it's still presenting me with this error. 034F5154-E49D-4742-A929-293BD7CCE981_4_5005_c.jpeg

HI @trvu8447

I was able to reproduce your error by including a blank line in the range list, like this

The error also occurs if the blank line is at the end of the list.

Check your list of ranges for blanks lines.

If there aren't any, can you post a minimal sample of your data and workflow?

Dan

I checked for blanks and that made it work perfectly! Thank you so much again for your help 🙂
