Salesforce Input using a Single Sign-On saleforce account

Hello,

I would like to import saleforce data in Alteryx by using a Single Sign-On saleforce account  -  this type of accounts doesn't use a password.

Does anyone know if this is possible in Alteryx 11?

Thank you for your help!

Regards,

Cristina

I've never tried this, but you can use the SAML assertion model:

Honestly, that looks to be quite a pain.  When I was in the same position as you, what I ended up doing was making a separate service account for integrations.  I then copied the admin profile in SFDC and removed SSO from it.  Assign that profile to the new integration account.  In your new non-SSO profile you could make it a local account that would authenticate against SFDC or you could configure it for delegated authentication which would query against Active Directory (AD).

Thank you for you answer,adm510!

I'll try to get a non-SSO profile and keep you posted.

Cristina
