Hello Alteryx Wizards,

Help - Run Time Series Forecast for multiple Brands in a single go !!!

My data 3 columns - Brands , period, Volume.  In Brand Column, i have 12 different brands, period 36 months of data,. I want forecast next 12 months for each Brand.

Currently, I am filtering each Brand one by one and run the forecast. And Union at the end and export to excel. This is bit lengthy. As these 12 brands for 1 category, I need to run for the same for multiple categories.:(

So just checking are any way we can run the forecast for all the brands in a single go ? Any tips ?

Regards

Mahabir.

HI @Mahabirpanigrahi

You can streamline your work with a batch macro.

Just batch by your brand and run the forecast in the macro.

Best,

Michael

Hi @Mahabirpanigrahi,

Take a look at the TS Factory macros available on the Alteryx Gallery, which allow a group by function!

TS Model Factory: https://gallery.alteryx.com/#!app/TS-Model-Factory/5772af65aa690a1348cc6abf

TS Forecast Factory: https://gallery.alteryx.com/#!app/TS-Forecast-Factory/5772b060aa690a1348cc6b73

This should make your life much easier and remove a lot of your filters!

If this solves your issue please mark the answer as correct, if not let me know!

Regards,

Jonathan

would also love to know how you can compare the TS Model factory tool for ETS and ARIMA. The TS Compare tool doesn't seem to work with them.
