Returning first date of month of a specific month

Hi everyone,

I have a datetime column with values like the ones below:

2018-08-05 00:00:00

2018-07-26 00:00:00

2018-06-13 00:00:00

I'm trying to get it to return the following:

2018-08-01 00:00:00

2018-07-01 00:00:00

2018-06-01 00:00:00

Is there an easy way to do this?

Hi @jjackie

I think you will be wanting the "DateTimeTrim" function.

For example

This is used to remove unwanted portions of a DateTime and return the modified DateTime

Using "month" trims to midnight at the first day of the month

Thanks @JoeS !

@jjackie do you want to mark this solved?
