Reporting Insight Tool

I created my dashboard charts but each time I want to go back and tweak something re- click on the tool and run the data. I keep getting the "Configure Insight"  message before I get to my dashboard charts. Is this how is works?

@Sophie95 If you make changes to the data set before the insight tool, the visualization in the insight tool will automatically update. You would then have to publish the insight to the Alteryx server in the top right corner. The main purpose of the insight tool is to create the interactive dashboards and then upload to the Alteryx Server for others to view.
