Replicating PIVOT in Alteryx - how to delete repeated cells

Hello,

I was able to replicate a PIVOT by using the Summarize , cross tab tool and formula tool (would have been great to have an excel pivot equivalent option ion Alteryx!), but i'm not able to present it in a similar fashion.

I have three grouping with total and sub total, the Data for first two groups gets repeated for every line item. Is there a way to delete and just show it for the first entry and then total? Refer to the below screenshot, left is what Alteryx produces and right is what I'm looking for.

Hi @Rosh_2788 ,

Here is a solution for you.

The idea here is to use the multi-row tool to always look to the row above and if it is the same, to erase the value.

Since we are not able to start from the last row, I reordered the rows to be able to accomplish that.

Thanks Fernando! I've been trying the Multi-Row tool, but in vain, the key here was to create a Record ID and then sort to use the formula!, thanks, i'm able to arrive at what i want to! Have a good weekend!

Regards,

Rosh.
