I am trying to combine multiple excel files into one excel file. ie saving down raw data as multiple tabs in one excel file.
When I did this, Alteryx will add in the headings F2, F3, F4
How can I remove those headers as I do not want to display them at all.
You can use dynamic rename tool with the option "Take field names from First row of data".
I thought about that before but it will removes my report name. I need it in the exact raw data format so:
row 1 (cell A1) - report name and not displaying F2,F3,F4 etc
row 2 - headings
row 3 onwards - data
To get this type of customizable format you will be required to create report snippets, which you can then stick together with a layout tool before rendering to excel.
Take a look at the reporting tools and the different examples available within Alteryx and shout if you have further questions.
