Regex to Remove Common Words

I would like to use the Regex tool to remove common words.  If multiple words match within a cell, I would like to remove all of them.  Also, I'm trying to match complete words (e.g. THE should not be removed from OTHER).  The following example isn't doing what I would hope.  Any suggestions?  

(?:<\'WITH'\>)|(?:<\'OR'\>)|(?:<\'IS'\>)|(?:<\'ON'\>)|(?:<\'HAS'\>)|(?:<\'WILL'\>)|(?:<\'THE'\>)

For that, you can use the find replace tool and it will work like regex.
