I was just wondering where on the local disk does Alteryx store the list of recent open files?
Trying to pick something up after someone has gone on holiday and typically can't find where she has saved it
Don't you see it under File--> Open Recent
If not, can you go to Auot Save Option : FIle-->Open Auto Saved Files
Thanks
Saravanan
I was hoping to find the location on the disk so I can peak at a colleagues list.
I haven't opened the file before unfortunately 😞
well, if you have not opened from your Alteryx Designer then you cannot
Hi @joe_strellis Hope you are well!
You can find this in the Registory editor under: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SRC\Alteryx\10.0\MRU
To open the Registory Editor click on the 'Start' button and choose the 'Run' option. When the 'Run' window is launched, type the 'regedit' text in the open box.
Hope this helps,
Joe
Yeah I am good Joe, how are you?
It's a shame we are stuck on Alteryx 8.5 on this server as it doesnt appear to be in the registry 😞
Can find the list of folders but not files.
Since it's HKCU ("current user") you probably only see your files, even in the registry.
