Raster creation

Hi there,

Can Alteryx create raster based on existing data (with latitude & lontitude information)? 

Is there any sample workflow?

I'm not sure I know what you are referring to when you say 'raster creation' do you have any blogs about other tools that do this?

Alteryx doesn't work with raster datasets, only vector. Even the MapInfo TAB filetype which is a raster gets converted into vector polygons.

I know QGIS can do that. Basically, every pixel can display different color based on the value. It can also do the calculation at  each pixel level.

The difference is that QGIS is a dedicated Geographic Information System, while Alteryx is a data analytics platform that can perform spatial functions. It's got significant vector capabilities to support business analytics, but does not have raster capabilities since Geographic Information Science is not its core functionality.
