Rank values based upon multiple criteria (RankIF)

I am attempting to populate the "Rank" field in column E below within Alteryx. I would like to rank values in column D based upon the values in columns A and B. This has proven to be challenging, since the ranking needs to be dynamic due to salespeople in column B overlapping regions.

For example, I need to rank which items Mike Smith sold the most of within the Northeast region. For Sue Johnson, I not only need to rank which items she sold the most of in the Midwest, but also how much she sold in the East region.

Does anyone know of a way to accomplish this in Alteryx? Or is there a different work-around for this? Seems like it would be a fairly-common function, but I cannot seem to find any way to get this to work.

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Please see the attached workflow. I bet there's a better way of doing it and hopefully someone can chime in with it but I think this will get you what you're looking for.
