Previewing output files from Alteryx App on Server - Chained App

Dear all,

I have developed an app that runs on Alteryx Server but keeps skipping an output data (.xlsx) that is supposed to be previewed as a functionality of the app. 

The app is a chained app and consists of 3 different workflows that are triggered one after another. The file I am trying to preview is supposed to be shown after the second app but before starting the third chained app.

The file preview (output data from the second workflow) works perfectly in the Designer but whenever I upload and then run the app in the server, the app seems to skip showing this file and proceeds right away with the third app. At the end of the App I get the output data from the third app but none of the files from the second workflow.

For the second app's output you want displayed, how is it working in designer?  Is it just a browse tool that you're displaying?  And it's not showing in the Gallery when it gets to that point?  Some screenshots would be helpful.
