Parsing

Asteroid

Hi there.

I have a data set where I have adress, housenumber and houseletter in one column.  However, I would like to parse it so that i get those in three different columns.

The problem I have is that some of the adresses is two words, and when I tried to use the parse tool, it separated those two words into separate columns. An example of how i want my data is exemplified below.  Could someone help me with this ? :)

Hi @olehr

It'd be good to have a bigger sample of your data, so we can identify the possible patterns to apply a parsing expression.

For that you could also use Data Investigation Tools.

Hi,

Is this sample big enough ? :)

@olehr

Try this:

REGEX expression: (\D+?)\s?(\d+)\s?([A-Z]?)
