Odd True/False results

Hi There,

So I am just trying to compare a list of values.

I have about 500 (small set). 300 or so of those match up no problem.

The other 177 seem to be giving me some weird errors. This is the output of the FALSE side.

Both values are set to doubles.

Is there something I am really missing here.......?

Hi,

doubles store more decimals than are being displayed in the below output, and are somewhat imprecise, which can sometimes cause them to appear similar but have different values stored in the end.

If you are working with financial/dollar data, I would generally recommend using a type of Fixed Decimal, specified to 2 decimal places, as this is more precise and will prevent you from having rounding issues at values less than 1 penny.

Nail on the head!

Thanks Claje
