Multivariate Outliers from Linear Regression

Anyone know how to identify multivariate outliers in Alteryx linear regression? I want the option to exclude them.

I am from the SPSS world and there we might use Cook's or Mahalanobis distance, for example.

In this particular case I've found that there are few if any univariate outliers, but scatterplots show some multivariate ones. Yes I know the pitfalls of excluding outliers.

Hey @PsychAnalyst,

This functionality does not currently exist, but if you think it would be useful, I would suggest adding it to the ideas page:

Alteryx Product Ideas

You could also use the R tool in conjunction with the following packages:

mahalanobis

Cook's Distances

About the R Tool

Let me know if you have any additional questions!

Yes I will use R tool for now. That is how I accomplish other things like Box-Cox transformation, and other procedures I've come to rely on but not yet coded in Alteryx. I've moved from Psychology research to Market research (where Alteryx seems to live), and so my requests may not be as prevalent among market researchers.
