Min & Preffered Requirements Recommendation for Data Packages (Experian)

Is there Alteryx (or other) recommendation for min. & preferred system requirements for use of "Data Packages" such as Experian enrichment?

Hi @slickshoes 

 

RAM and processor aren't huge factors when utilizing data package. I would just follow the standard Designer guidelines on those two. 

 

The most important thing for data packages is storage speed and access to where the data is installed. Storage speed is the drive type (PCIe solid state vs SATA disk, etc) and access/latency is also described as "how close is your Designer machine to that data" (installed on the same computer vs stored on the network somewhere else). The best scenario if you're using Designer on a desktop is to install the datasets on a PCIe solid state drive on the same desktop. 

 

Basically, there's a lot of data in those package and the faster it can be served up to Designer, the better.
