Hello

I have 2 csv files,
one with id and multiple color names for each id
and another one with color names that do not look quite the same to the color name in the first file (fuzzy lookup case).

I need to have on the file 2 for each color name the the most fit id rely on the name closest to it from file 1.

Thanks for your help

Hi @Borisham , you can simply use find and replace tool.

Hi @Borisham

Your previous scenario varies is much more complex then this one.

https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Designer-Discussions/matching-by-sting/m-p/656991#M151919

We had to find the common color it wasnt given.

Has the requirement changed now? or is this different.

@grazitti_sapna @vizAlter thanks guys, this is good but it gives value only for accurate value that exist in the id file.

For all the other cases(in between cases it will not show them any id's because the looks slitlig diffrent in the name).

How can I make it a bit better ?

Need to use another formula ? or change a bit the id file ?

@atcodedog05Yes, it's a diffrent case for the same solution. I have 2 cases to solve.

Thanks

Hi @Borisham , in this case you can go with fuzzy match tool, you might need to change the configurations as per the records. Due to lack of records I could only test on the set you provided and it worked. Please refer to the screenshot attached and the workflow.

I hope it helps.
