Long processing time

I have a csv file around 176 mb
when I run a simple select tool on alteryx it takes a very long time to process
by the way, xlsb takes even longer time to process even though it'

Not sure what "very long" means in terms of scale...

But 176mb should be very do-able. I'd suggest that you check whether the file is saved on server / shared drive and whether the connection quality impacts the data read speed.

Secondly, you can also check out the Calgary input tool which is faster than the normal input tool. The video here shows a nice how-to:
