Debating whether or not to upgrade to the latest version of Alteryx Designer?
We have been presented with a challenge recently regarding interactive PDF files.
Does anyone know of a way to read and write interactive PDF's please?
We have already done PDF parsing with static PDF's using R libraries.
Try this: https://gallery.alteryx.com/#!app/PDF-Input--Text-and-Image-/5be5ec8d0462d71ffce6deaa
This reads in images and text as well.
@DiganP Thanks for your reply.
I had tried the previous version of this macro. This version appears to work well on static PDF's, but I get the following message on interactive form based PDF's.
"If this message is not eventually replaced by the proper contents of the document, your PDFviewer may not be able to display this type of document."
It then goes on to suggest upgrading to the latest version of the Adobe Reader
I am tasked with doing the same. Did you find a solution?
I'm still hoping someone will come with something for interactive PDF's.
@DavidJohnson thanks for the reply.
I saw this idea posted by @aaron_strain. Give it a thumbs up!
