How to move multi-row data

Asteroid

Address.JPGHi,

I am new to Alteryx.I need a help to create a workflow for the following scenarios I just attached. There is any tool or formula I can use to archive this task?

Hi @EvansM

I just want to check your logic before I look to build out a scenario.

Is it that:

  1. All 4 fields are populated then keep order and rename columns?
  2. 2 fields are populated then blank first column then shift everything to the left most?
  3. 3 fields are populated then blank first column then shift everything to the left most?

Thanks

Hi @JoeS

For the most part yes.

2:Scenario: If CADD1and CITY  are  populated, then move to CADD1 to ADDR1 and CITY to ADDR2 and COADDR should be NULL

3:Scenario: If CADD1 and CADD2 and CITY are populated,  then move CADD1 to ADDR1,CADD2 to ADDR2 and CITY to ADDR3, COADDR should be NULL.

Hi @EvansM

Ok, you may have to bear with me as I had to play spot the logic.

This works for all your examples, so feel free to plug in your real data and let me know how it works......
