How to fill color of a row ?

Meteor

Hi

I have obtained the output of my workflow in a desired template. I am not able to fill color of a row(11th row). I have added the files of the obtained output and the desired output. I want to fill the 11th row with color as shown in the desired output. Is there any workaround for this?

Thanks !

Hi,

If the header doesn't change, then make a template with the colorfull header. After that, in alteryx in the output tool check in the "Skip field names" box.

dont forget to modify the range of your output (in your case: A12:P "lastrow"

Hope it helps,

Hi @Kucsi

I am saving the files to the output template from a separate workflow having the same headers. It is due to this that the Background fill is lost.

I am not able to find "Skip field names" in the output file configuration.

I tried using the table tool to fill the color but was not able to configure it accordingly.

Is there any other method to do this?

Thanks

Hi Abdul,

The last checkbox in the output tool config is the skip field names.

I think the table tool will not work for you, because you want to put your data into range.

I dont have any other idea now, but i will think about it.

Hi @Kucsi

Which version of Alteryx Designer are you using? The version which I am using does not have "Skip Field Names" in the properties of my Output Data File Tool.

Thanks

Asteroid

I'm using 2019.3, the latest version of alteryx.
