How to customize a macro?

I have wrote a standard marco, which is a general workflow. But it needs to be customized when used in different scenarios.

Is it feasible? How to customize a macro?

Need a bit more information, but yes, you can certainly customize a macro.  Of course it all depends on what you want to do.  I highly suggest you head over to the Academy section of the Community.  There's several resources to help get you started with Macros.

It depends on the type of customization required.  

If its a code change, adding/deleting tools or changing the connections between them, you need to edit the macro directly. 

If its config changes to the tools already in the macro then, you can use Interface tools to allow the values to be selected when the macro is added to a new workflow.   You can find out how to use the Interface tools here.  The training videos deal with Analytic apps, but the tools are used in exactly the same way when added to a macro.
