Hi Community,
Do you probably have an idea on how to best approach to this case. I have a group of students who want to be connected with a students abroad. Currently it is based on country but would like to expand it on subjects, age etc...
With the example below we have 5 students, student 1 and 3 can be connected. As these already have been connected student 4 has no connection anymore, this is also applicable for student 5. As student 2 has and student 4 do not have the same requests, they cannot be connected.
Thanks in advance community!

Hi @mrichman
This is an interesting problem. I see a weekly challenge born out of this!
See if my solution works (attached),
Dear @mrichman,
Have you tried to use the fuzzy match tools,
I think you can do it with some updates.
Regards,
@messi007 The fuzzy match would work for this!? that would be cool. Can you show an example of how that would work?
@PhilipMannering it was just a thought I'm not expert on the fuzzy match tool 🙂
Correct me if it's not the case 😉
Regards,
@messi007 Not an expert either. I thought that if you had the students names: Jacque Chirac and Jack Chirac, for example, they could be matched as the same student.
Hi @mrichman
Here is a workflow for the task.

Hope this helps 🙂
If this post helps you please mark it as solution. And give a like if you dont mind 😀👍
Hi Philip!
Thanks for the sample - it's working to a certain extent. However, the workflow seems to not working when adding new students. I was expecting that student 5 and 4 will be connected. Any ideas?
Hi @mrichman
Student - 4 and 5 dont have the same request.
Student 5 DE NL
Student 4 UK DE
And give my workflow also a try 🙂
