How to capture verbs and nouns in a sentence?

Hi,

If the user is not giving a list of verbs and nouns as keywords, is there a way that Alteryx can capture whatever verbs and nouns in a sentence?

For example, a request that said, "We need the cardboard boxes in the storage room to be broken down".

The Noun-Verb combination becomes "cardboard boxes" - "broken" or "cardboard boxes"- "broken down".

I researched a lot but could not find anything similar to this. Hope someone can help!!!

I'd recommend using the google natural language API.

Technically you should be able to do it within a python tool, but this is not default alteryx functionality.

You can try the demo here https://cloud.google.com/natural-language

Plug your sentence in and you'll find it is able to identify what you request, though you will struggle to magically extract ONLY what you need every time unless your input text is amazingly consistent.

Google has docs explaining how to get up and running with the API. It's pretty **bleep** cheap.
