Historical Twitter data from API

Hi All,

I'm having some trouble using the Twitter API connector. I'm interested in using it to access historical twitter data, but the connector seems to limit you to the last 10 days or so?

Does anyone have a workaround for this? I'm assuming that in the nuts and bolts of the Twitter app I can delimit the data range specified?

Any help would be most appreciated.

@turtlebah,

You might not like my answer, but it is what I found for you.  Twitter API search is limited to a week.

https://dev.twitter.com/docs/using-search

If you use a paid service (eg. DataSift http://datasift.com/) then you can access older tweets.

I thougtht that would probably be the case, i just wondered if there was a way round it - I guess not.

I guess we'll look at trying to source something instead.

Can you please share your workflow with the twitter api working, i've been trying to get it to work to no avail :( or any documentation will be good...
