Help to a newbie. Import and data handeling

Hi 

Im fairly new to alteryx - only been playing around with this for a month.

Ive got a task at hand, creating a summary based on invoice specifications.

All the invoices has similar structure. But all files has more than 1 sheet.

1 Sheet that is not usefull. And 1+ Sheets with proper data.

Ive found the CReW_WildcardXLSXInput importer, which works great.

Im able to import the correct sheets, and exclude those who are not usefull.

But in each file i have:
Kundenummber (custoner number) 
and 
Faktura dato (invoice date) 

I want to full two colums with this data.
So 

File 1 has:
Invoice date: 28-11-2019
Customer number: 1 

And File 2 has:
Invoice date: 01-08-2019

Customer number: 2

So i have to extract it, and fill a colum based on the file its extraced from.

Ive tried and upload my sample data.

And my attemp to create a flow (im not sure i have all files attached here)

I'm sorry if im doing anyting wrong.

but ive taken your workflow, entered my data folder.

But i only loads the file set in the macro? 

And it only loads one sheet name of that file?

Im fairly new to alteryx so maybe its just me beeing dumb I dont know 😕 

Ive attached 2 invoices as sample data.

I really appriciate your help 🙂

I think I didn't consider all changes between files/sheets, so now (hopefully) everything is covert.
If there still are any issues, let me know.

Im sorry im such a pain in the **bleep** 😕 

This almost works ... or, it works like a charm for every file it loads.

But it skips one file, the one with 3 sheets.

And I cant find any limitations in the flow or macro?

Really strange ... there is no restriction on the number of sheets, eonly an exlude on that summary sheet. I've created a lot of copies of a data sheet within one of the sample files, it seems to work without any problems. Is there something special in the "ignored" file (beside more sheets)? It seems to be very large compared to the other files. Could you provide the complete file?

But something is messing up with the import data cause if I run it on this folder with 7 xlsx files it only shows sheets of 4 of them? 
And the files are not corrupted if i put them in one by one it works fine? 😕

Hi,

so there are 7 files, each one with 3 sheets (2 data sheets and one "Summary" sheet)?  And 4 files are imported correctly, 3 files are missing?

4 Files with: SummeringRapport And fakturaspecification 
1 File with: SummeringRapport And fakturaspecification And More data 

2 Files with: Faktura im gonna filter these our, cause they are simply additional data to the first 5 files.) 

But it should load all 5 files with all sheets.

I cannot attach more files to the thread, but as long as it reads the files Names Faktura xxxxxxxxx correctly its all good.

Ive tried a different folder with another carriers files, and that does not work either 😕
