I would like to create the Hex bins intad of Grids using Alteryx . Is there any way to do it ? Alternativly I can create the shape files in QGIS but if Alteryx could creeate the hexbins that would  be very useful.

Hi @kashan this macro makes hexagons rather than grids check it out and see if helps your use case.

So using this Macro I have to have all the HEX points before in hand.

{ "type": "Polygon", "coordinates": [ [ [ -108.603844, 39.902699 ], [ -106.045970, 39.902699 ], [ -106.045970, 38.444503 ], [ -108.603844, 38.444503 ], [ -108.603844, 39.902699 ] ] ] }

Would there be module in future where we just mention the HEX 168m or 512m etc and Alteryx would be able to call API or create itself ?

Is there a way to use trade area functionality within this Macro? Ideally, I would like to create hexbins with radius values of 16, 4, 1, and .25 miles. I attempted to use the macro to do this, but I see this being an issue within the batch macro where the grid is created. Thanks in advance.
