Find Replace

Hello,

If I am using the Find Replace with a lookup table which contains values like '11' and '111' if I check 'Entire Field' is it correct that it will never try to match the '11' against the '111' but always match with '11'.

Also what is the value of 'Match Whole Word Only' when you select 'Entire Field'.

Thanks,

Michael

Hi @mstoler ,

You are correct, when you select the Entire field, it will only consider full matches.

About your second question, there is no use for Entire field + Match whole word only. It is only used with Beginning of field and any part of field options. Maybe the tool should grey out the check box option when unnecessary.

Best,

Fernando Vizcaino
