Filtering on Table and auto calculation

Hi ,

I have a quick concern over on how to filter on the structured data table like below in the output.

We have organised format similar like below and when we filter each time, the output should look something like this

Means :

1. If I filter by A : then My A column numbers retain the same but rest all column details will get in to column G to remain the total same. T

Similarly if i filter for B - the numbers in B remains the same and rest all will go to column G to ensure the total remains the same. Is that possible in Alteryx.

Hi @Lakshraj

I am not sure I quite follow the logic at this stage, would you be able to give a bit more context. With each Filter are you looking to just take the Column you filter as well as the 'Grand Total'? You can then subtract the Column you have filtered from the 'Grand Total' in order to get 'G (Rest All)'.

Let me know if that would work!

Thanks

Will

Hi, @Lakshraj

As @wdavis  has mentioned, I am not sure If I get your intention correctly.

Just tried to get the same results as your example with Dynamic Select Tool.

Hi Laksh,

Unable to understand the query as column G (rest all) is where there is disconnect. can you explain the scenario in detail. As G & grand total there is confusion. Also, wondering filtering A, how does G values increased by 10?
