Hi everyone,
I have an issue regarding file rounding. I have an excel file where I have a lot of rounded percentages (i.e. 58%, 40%, 25%, etc.) and they're inputed as such in the file. However, when I run a browse on the file, several of the numbers seems to turn into a non-rounded number I.e. (0.5799999999999999999999999996 or 0.56000000000000000000000005). I've figured out solutions to fix it, but I'm trying to find out why it's exactly happening in the first place.
Has anyone encountered this issue before?

Problems with Excel rounding. Who would have thunk it?
Excel has display formatting that might mask these values. You might consider exporting the data as a CSV and see if the values appear as rounded or not. If they do not round in the CSV, then this is easily explained.
