Do you have any special characters in your field names like a '$' character- that has special meaning in Excel (ex for sheet and named range addressing) and so Alteryx may have to remove that in order to work properly with the Excel driver.

I think it was the switch that i was using while running the ACCESS DB after the data was written. Changing that from compact to repair worked.

Hi Everyone,

I had this same issue today.   It turned out that for this particular output file I had selected the .xls format instead of the .xlsx format.    Changing that cleared the issue.

Hope this helps the next person with this issue.

Thanks,

John Z, The Tax Geek
