Drive time calculations

Looking to improve the speed of drive time calculations by upgrading the hardware.

Is it the CPU or the GPU that would need to be improved?

Also an tips for optimisation would be greatly appreciated.

#1 upgrade for Alteryx is a fast SSD - PCIe if you can find it/afford it.  After that for drivetime it would be more CPU cores.  But that is one of the only parts of Alteryx that more CPU cores is the answer.

Thanks for that Ned, we are working on SAN here so disk options are limited (read dictated), but will look to see if we can upgrade the CPU's in order to help drivetimes.

Is it possible to do drivetime calculations on spark?

If it can be done then increasing the GPU will benefit too... Probably will be possible in the coming releases...
