Download Tool failing when Scheduled

Hi

I have 3 download tools connecting to an API to do a series of PATCH, PUT & POST HTTP actions.

When I run my workflow manually the tools work fine and run through upto c.300 calls, however once scheduled it seems to hang on the first call

any ideas?

Hi @AB1232 ,

 

when you're scheduling the calls it will be running from a server, right? The user being used from your designer will be whatever username you're signed on to your machine with, but when you use it from the server it will be using the service account associated to the Alteryx service on the server. This account may not have permission to access the API. This could be one possible issue.

The other issue could be that the server simply doesn't have connectivity to the API endpoint. Check that.
