Differentiating Spatial Objects within Browse Tool

I've been using the spatial objects tools for about a day and a half.  I haven't seen anything where I can differentiate the colors of an object based on another field within my data set.  For example, if i have invoice numbers (say 100 or more), a centroid of where each invoice's sale was, and a credit card number (say there are 10 different ones).  I'm browsing to see where the sales are on the map but I'd like the colors of the "pins" to be different for each credit card used.  Any thoughts?

Hi @byagelski

I don't think it's possible to change colors with Browse Tool. It just renders the points and areas with default settings of size and color.

But, why don't you use Report Map Tool?

If you click on Help > Sample Workflows > Describe what is happening > Maps > Map trade areas 2, you'll se a good use case of map colors.

It lets you customize colors based on a field, using Tile methods to specify how your spatial objects will be colored.
