Date Filter not working

if i set a date filter to "use start date and include subsequent periods after that date" and set period definition to years and number of periods as 3, and filter on a date field, i only get the data for the start date (in this case 10-1-2018) .  if i try "start and end dates", i get the same.  what am doing wrong with the date filter?  thanks

also, if i just use the filter command with [field1]>="2018-10-01", i get the same result

Could you share a sample of your data? Just the Date Field, at least.

2018-10-01 where it is :

SAR023_PROCESS_DATE_Y Date 10 File: (Multiple Sources)

and even with a plain filter of:

[SAR023_PROCESS_DATE_Y]>="2018-10-01", i get just that date's data and not all. thanks

This is inconclusive. We'd need to see a file with a sample of your data.

Worked fine here. Bringing correct dates (from start date and until 3 years after).
