Data Output Corruption - XLS and CSV

This is a recurring problem I have seen when exporting to either XLS or CSV format. The last few cells of data become corrupted in the output.

This image is from Alteryx in the Results Pane: results pane.png

This image is from Excel when I open the CSV or XLS output: csv_output.png

This is a really simple example of the issue - but I have had it occur in files with half a million rows of data or more - on one project I had 35 output files, all of which had this issue where the last cell or two would have corrupted data in the fields like this example.

I have not had this occur, to my knowledge, when writing to a Snowflake table. It seems specific to writing to XLS or CSV formats.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Mike

Definitely not come across this before.

What does your. Csv file look like if you open it in a text editor?

hadn't tried that before, but it does NOT have that corrupted part... weird... so this must be an Excel thing?

Can't seem to find an actual solution on this, but appreciate the response  ;)
