DATE_TRUNC formula

Hi,

I am using a Snowflake data source within Alteryx

I am trying to use DATE_TRUNC to change the current date from "YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS" to just "YYYY-MM-DD"

I am located in AEST.

See screenshot below. The result "TODAY" is weird.

Can you explain what is going on?

Hi @sm7746

Have you checked your Timezone in snowflake.

Thanks,

Bharat

Hi @sm7746 ,

you don't need to write SQL scripts, you can simply bring the data in to Alteryx and convert the date accordingly using the DateTime tool. This will show you the format used by your Snowflake server and will convert the date into whatever format you want.

You don't need any conversion functions in SQL when you have Alteryx.
