Custom sort order

HI,

I would like to sort a dataset by  a specific set of values

1. Active

2.Transfer.

3.Withdraw

I would like to specify the exact values and sort order's. The sort component only seems to offer alphabetical sort options?

I like to create a sort order field. I put the numeric translation of 1-active, 2-transfer, 3-withdrawal. Then sort in that field, removing the field once sorted.

How would I custom sort rows if I have more than 9 rows? For example, I have 12 rows and when I try to sort it using the method recommended in the solution below, it sorts it this way:

How do I overcome this?

I believe making the numbers two digit strings would do the trick: 01, 02, 03, 04...10, 11, 12... 20, 21... etc
